Ingram Micro Data Capture/POS Division has appointed Marc Rachiele as director, Marketing and Vendor Management; this position was previously held by Justin Scopaz, who now serves as general manager and vice president of Ingram's DC/POS Division.

In this role, Rachiele will be responsible for managing all aspects of vendor relations and marketing for the distributor's DC/POS Division. This includes developing and executing vendor business plans, public relations, program marketing, vendor marketing, and personnel management and development.

He will also be responsible for supervising and coaching a team of associates who serve as the point of contact for manufacturers, Ingram Micro and vendor sales reps, and potentially customers. In addition, this position is responsible for category management for Point of Sale and Auto ID. This includes determining line card gaps and recruiting additional vendors as needed.

Marc has been with Ingram Micro for nine years and has experience in several areas of the company including: Sales, Marketing and Product Management as well as Market Development.
